Characteristics

1. Cotton, silk, artificial cotton and wool are dyed and treated to enhance washing and soaping, rubbing and ironing fastness.

2. When the direct dye is used as the background to dye and print, the fixation process can prevent the background from seeping to the white part.

3. Treating fabrics with this product can prevent seeping and staining in warp sizing.

4. The fixing agent Y60 can also be used for fixation of paper.

5. The fixing agent Y60 cannot be mixed with anions surfactant and anti-brittle sulphur black and fixation of resin finishing.

6. The fixing agent Y60 does not affect the combination of dye with fiber, or the original shade of the fabric, and can protect the fiber.

The fixing agent Y60 is soluble in cold water, 5% water solution is clear at 20 degrees Celsius.

Application Range

The fixing agent Y60 is mainly used for fixation of dyeing fabrics with active, direct and acid dyes, especially suitable for the difficult fixation process of the bright red and emerald blue. The fixing agent Y60 is also used as a fixing agent in post-mercerization.

Application Process

1. The amount of this product is usually 1-2 times the amount of dye, depending on the type, color and depth of fabrics. Adjust the fixing bath with glacial acetic acid  pH = 4.5-5.5; fixation time is 10 min.

Storage

The fixing agent Y60 can be stored in sealed bags at ambient temperature for six months.
